Following the recent successful 2011 South-East Asia SharePoint Conference, held in Singapore last month, the Board of Pingar Holdings Limited has agreed to establish a formal presence in the SE Asia region.

Whilst Singapore is a key global trading centre in its own right, South-East Asia as a region, is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia & Vietnam are just some of the countries that make up this rapidly emerging economic zone.

Pingar’s new Singapore office will complement the company’s existing offices in Australasia, Hong Kong & India.

Today, we posted a notice on our Careers page for a Singapore-based Business Development Manager. It is a team we intend to grow.

Last week, we posted a blog about Pingar’s commitment to greater Asia as a region. Today’s announcement is a continuation of that commitment.

The Asia-Pacific represents the fastest growing regional market for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, growing at about 15% with Australia and Korea at the lead, according to a new report from Global Industry Analysts, Inc. (GIA). The report on Content Management Software found China and India are among the faster growing regions.

In Singapore last month, we connected with a large number of potential partners and customers. What the South-East Asia SharePoint Conference demonstrated was not only the increasing adoption of this enterprise platform, but also a real understanding of how text and content analysis is transforming how ECM & EDM platforms will work in the future. To get real insight from unstructured data and real business intelligence, the 500 delegates at the SharePoint Conference voted Pingar as their ‘SharePoint Idol’.

If you qualify for the role of Pingar’s Business Development Manager in Singapore, please submit your CV / resume as detailed on the Careers page link above.

Peter Wren-Hilton, Pingar CEO
