A major Pingar presentation in Bangalore, in February 2012, together with the recruitment of an experienced Business Development Manager positions Pingar India Technologies Pvt Limited for significant growth over the next twelve months.

I established my first software development business in Bangalore over ten years ago. ‘IT City’ has come a long way since then. In 2001, it was viewed essentially as a source of relatively low cost coders. How times have changed. Today, the large domestic IT players have grown up to be significant operators on the international ICT stage.  The likes of Wipro, Infosys, TCS, CMC & Satyam are recognised as important providers of project management, project planning and software development skills around the world. They have established a number of significant global strategic relationships.  

It was against this background that Pingar India Technologies Pvt Limited was established earlier this year. Initially, the team has focused on providing software development support for Pingar’s New Zealand-based research team. The recruitment of Keerthy Jaganath as Pingar India’s Business Development Manager however marks a new direction for the team. This new direction maps Pingar’s global Go to Market strategy. Working with major software development partners & experienced system integrators, we plan to extend the adoption and use of our API components into key target markets and domains.

The challenge that unstructured data poses enterprises is a truly global one. On Friday 9th February 2012, Pingar will demonstrate its core capabilities to an audience of senior executives from some of India’s largest software development companies. This Expo is designed to provide these companies with an insight into how Pingar’s Rapid Discovery, Entity Extraction & Content Analysis  components can assist them develop improved solutions for their international clients.
