It's great to be here at the 2011 Australia SharePoint Conference in Sydney. And a big thanks to everyone who makes the time to hear us during 'SharePoint Idol'.

At PINGAR, it's been a four-year journey from concept to this week's launch. Moving from stealth to public-facing mode is a fantastic feeling. We're definitely excited about where things are heading.

Our mission at PINGAR is to help businesses discover new value from unstructured data. As we keep saying, the business world is exploding with information. According to IDC, companies are battling with having the flow of text and document data increasing by up to 40 percent every year; the cost of failed searches is an astounding $5.4 million USD a year for every thousand information employees.

So there's a real need to have BETTER ways to search.

The PINGAR platform plugs into existing systems, Including Microsoft SharePoint 2007 & 2010, and turbo-boosts the information management capability. Because the process is intuitive, the results are more relevant. PINGAR helps you (or the company you're supporting) to manage business information more effectively, and extract potentially remarkable insight into the unstructured data that's held.

It's about turning data into knowledge ... and that knowledge into commercial advantage.

As part of the conference, we're offering SharePoint developers' advice and access to the PINGAR API. Come to our stand if you'd like to talk it through.
