- Lead a team of around 10 people to develop & deliver a fit-for-purpose software product
- Make customers happy delivering implementations smoothly
- Work in a young & growing product company exporting to the world’s best and biggest organisations
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of development and delivery at Pingar as we grow globally
We craft software that uses machine learning and text analytics to help our customers discover the right information. It’s a lot more fun than making typical business software, and we have top-shelf researchers, developers, designers and QA people.
This is a leadership role and would suit you if you’re keen in managing the people and processes to make successful software products. Perhaps you’re a scrum master or lead developer or project manager, but as long as you’ve got the basic technical chops, good people skills, and enjoy changing the status quo then we want to meet you.
What sort of technical chops will you need?
- 8+ years experience in enterprise software projects
- 3+ years Programming and/or architecture experience
This is a role where you’ll need prior exposure to enterprise-software and the software development lifecycle. While you may not be developing production code, you’ll have spent some time designing, programming or architecting enterprise software at some point prior to joining us. We want you to be able enough to ask your team on how they’ll be architecting for uptime or actively preventing multi-threading problems but you won’t have to be the expert. In fact, you think more about how to ensure your team builds and delivers fit-for-purpose software than you do thinking about technical issues.
What sort of people and process skills will you need?
- 3+ years Project management / Scrum Master / delivery or similar experience
- Exposure to multiple SDLCs
- Some leadership experience
You will be managing your team so you’ll be a person that has the character to encourage, guide and direct technical people. You’ll have ownership for the process and methods they take to get from requirement to packaging. You’ll develop ways to make things go well. You’ll co-ordinate and plan with product management and research people at Pingar to achieve this.
We’re in the CBD
